1.1 - Strawberry Bubble Bath

Requirements:
1 tablespoon glycerine (Chocolate Den)
500 ml liquid soap or clear unfragranced bubble bath (Chocolate Den)
Pink powder colouring (Chocolate Den)
Lustre powder - optional, for a silky look (Chocolate Den)
Strawberry fragrance (Chocolate Den)
1 bottle for packaging (Chocolate Den)
Mulberry paper and raffia for packaging (Chocolate Den)

Method:
Dissolve a tiny bit of pink colouring in the glycerine. (Remember what I told you about the colouring last time. If you make your bubble bath too pink it will in turn make you pink. Therefore...if you make your bubble bath too pink you will have to give it to your mother-in-law. What a waste!) Also mix 15-20 drops of strawberry fragrance and your lustre powder into the glycerine. Add this mixture to your jar of clear/unfragranced liquid soap. Pour into a bottle and decorate with mulberry paper and raffia.

1.2 - Blueberry Bath Oil

Requirements:
100ml Technical Oil (Chocolate Den)
100ml Sunflower Oil
50ml Sweet Oil (Chocolate Den)
20 Drops Blueberry fragrance (Chocolate Den)
Blue powder colouring
Lustre powder - for a silky sheen (Chocolate Den)
Mulberry paper and raffia for packaging (Chocolate Den)
Attractive bottle for packaging (Chocolate Den)

Method:
Dissolve a tiny (match head) amount of blue powder colouring in a teaspoon of sweet oil. (Not more than that unless you would like to see your mother-in-law in blue). Dissolve well till no specks are visible. Then add a small amount of lustre powder and 20 - 30 drops of blueberry fragrance to the blue oil and mix well. Add this mixture to the rest of the sweet oil and mix through. Finally add all three oils (coloured sweet oil, sunflower oil and technical oil) together and mix through. Pour the oil mix into the bottle. Once sealed, tie raffia and mulberry paper around the lid of the bottle. Two tablespoons of Blueberry Bath Oil can be added to your bath for the luxurious, indulgent  bath you deserve.

1.3 - Strawberry Surprise Fizz Bomb Hearts

Requirements:
1 heart mould PV 166 (Chocolate Den)
1 Cup baking soda (Chocolate Den)
1/2 Cup cornstarch (Chocolate Den)
1/2 Cup citric acid (Chocolate Den)
1 Teaspoon sweet oil (Chocolate Den)
1 Teaspoon coconut oil (Chocolate Den)
3 Teaspoons witchhazel (Chocolate Den)
Strawberry fragrance oil (Chocolate Den)
Pink powder colouring (Chocolate Den)
Pink heart confetti (Chocolate Den)

Method:
In a large bowl mix together the baking soda and cornstarch and the citric acid. Put a handful of this mixture into a smaller bowl and add to it the sweet oil, coconut oil, pink colouring and strawberry fragrance oil. Mash this mixture well into a paste and then return it to the big bowl. Also add two tablespoons of pink heart confetti to the mixture now. Crumb the coloured paste into the dry mixture till they are one even mixture. Add three teaspoons of witchhazel and mix through fast. Remember the more liquid you add to the mixture the more fizz you lose. The mixture must be just damp enough to hold together in a clump if you squeeze it in your fist. To make a heart fizz bomb pack the mixture very tight into a mould and then release it onto a tray to set. Do not leave the heart bombs on wood or cardboard to set because they will absorb the oil. Leave your hearts two days to set hard or you can dry them out in an oven on a very very low heat. Strawberry surprise heart bombs are a fantastic addition to your Mixed Berry Pamper Hamper. The next three Good-Newsletters complete your Mixed Berry Pamper Hamper.  These bombs are extra special because they leave tiny confetti hearts floating in the bath once they have finished fizzing.

Mix the bath crystals and the bath salts together. Throw out all big lumps of salt that are too hard to break down. Add 20 - 30 drops of raspberry fragrance and a match head of both blue and pink colouring to the mixture. Mix through well till you have an even colour throughout. Add two tablespoons of pink heart confetti to the salts.

2.2 - Pineapple Foot Scrub

Requirements:
1/2 cup pinhead oatmeal (Supermarket)
1/4 cup citric acid (Soap Barn)
1/4 cup bath crystals (Soap Barn)
1/4 cup fine table salt

2 jars for packaging (Soap Barn)
Dried chillies and dried orange slices for decoration (Soap Barn)
Raffia for packaging and decoration (Soap Barn)

Method:
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.  Now you need to put in a little effort! You need to rub the soap into the other products so that the entire mixture looks like a soft yellow powder. Rub the mixture between your fingers and not the palms of your hands, because if the palms of your hands sweat you will turn the entire mixture into a thick solid lump. When you have a soft yellow powder fill your two jars with this stunning foot scrub. Now decorate your jars with raffia, dried orange slices and dried chillies to match your coconut hand lotion from last week.

Pour the chocolate brown soap into square moulds and leave to set. When the brown soaps have set unmould them. Cut them into quarters and then place diagonally opposite quarters back into the mould. Press them down firmly in the mould. Melt the orange soap gently in the microwave or in a pot over a very low heat. Now pour the melted orange soap into the moulds that contain two diagonally opposite square chocolate soaps. Fill the moulds to the top and leave to set. Once the soap is un-moulded you can wrap it in the brown paper and tie it up with raffia. Stick a couple of dried orange slices on top for decoration.

7.3 - Orange Bath Bombs

1 heart mould PV 166 (Soap Barn)
1 Cup baking soda (Soap Barn)
1/2 Cup cornstarch (Soap Barn)
1/2 Cup citric acid (Soap Barn)
1 Teaspoon sweet oil (Soap Barn)
1 Teaspoon coconut oil (Soap Barn)
3 Teaspoons witchhazel (Soap Barn)
Orange fragrance oil (Soap Barn)
Orange powder colouring (Soap Barn)

Method:
In a large bowl mix together the baking soda and cornstarch and the citric acid. Put a handful of this mixture into a smaller bowl and add to it the sweet oil, coconut oil, colouring and fragrance oil. Mash this mixture well into a paste and then return it to the big bowl. Do not leave the bombs on wood or cardboard to set because they will absorb the oil from the bomb. To make a fizz ball heap the mixture high into both sides of a ball mould. Then bring the two sides together packing them tight against each other. Gently release one side of the mould and then the other. (Making double sided balls is tricky and takes lots of patience and practice. It is better to start with flat ones first until you are comfortable working with the mixture.) Leave the bomb two to three days to cure then pack in cellophane.
