Requirements:
Raw Organic Cocoa Butter (The Soap Barn)

Method:
Over very low heat melt the raw organic cocoa butter. It must be melted at the lowest possible temperature. The best thing
to do chop it up into smallish pieces and divide your cocoa butter in half. Gently melt the first half and then take your
cocoa butter off the stove. Add the second half into the melted half. Stir till the second half pieces are melted in.
It is really important to melt the cocoa butter at the very lowest possible heat. Once it is all melted add in your fine
Himalayan salt. Add till you get a thick consistency and then pour into moulds. First leave to set. Then place in the freezer
to harden Un-mould and wrap

Soap Salt Bars - Recipe 13
![](recipes15/1513.jpg)
Requirements:
Olive Oil Farmhouse Soap (The Soap Barn)
Coarse Himalayan Salt (The Soap Barn)
Loaf Tin
Method:
Gently melt your Farmhouse soap in a pot on the stove or in the microwave. Once melted leave to cool substantially. Stir it
every now and then to test how quickly it is thickening. When the soap is thick quicky pour in your salts and stir through well.
Pour the mixture into a loaf tin and leave to set. When the soap has set you can knock it out of the loaf tin and slice it up.
P. S you need to work really quickly once the soap has thickened. You don’t want to add the salt when the soap is still runny
because it will dissolve and will also sink to the bottom. So you can only add it once the soap is cool and thick. You have
about 1 minute to stir it in and pour it at the correct temperature

Anti-Aging Baobab Face Cream - Recipe 14
Requirements:
100ml Baobab Oil (Soap Barn)
100ml Shea Butter (Soap Barn)
100ml Emulsifying Wax (Soap Barn)
400ml Rooibos Tea (very strong) (Soap Barn)
8ml Euxyl (paraben free preservative) (Soap Barn)
Lotion Jars (Soap Barn)
Method:
Over very low heat melt the emulsifying wax and the shea butter. Melt it at the lowest
possible temperature and as soon as it's melted remove it from the stove. Now mix in
your baobab oil. Once the oils are mixed add your tea while stirring. In the beginning it
won't look too good - sort of curdled. But it's fine so don't panic. Add in all your rooibos
tea and stir until it becomes creamy looking. Add your preservative and mix it through
well. Beat it with a small electric hand beater till you have a thick, smooth and creamy
texture. Now you can decant your mixture into lotion jars and label. I haven’t
recommended the use of either fragrances or essential oils because I believe this recipe
is perfect just as it is for use on the face. However, that is my opinion only. You are
more than welcome to add either fragrance or essential oil to the face cream for a pretty
smell
